Paweł graduated from the University of Gdańsk with a Master’s degree in Law and currently is a Legal Adviser (Rechtsanwalt) and a member of the regional Chamber of Legal Advisers with 18 years of experience.
He worked for the local government appeal board (Samorządowe Kolegium Odwoławcze), a body repealing decisions issued by the head of the local authority, the Mayor, or the head of the district authority, for 8 years. For over 7 years, Paweł was the head of legal department in Vemma Europe Ltd, a company selling food supplements all over Europe. In 2007, he started his own law firm and in 2009 he established the BGST Radcowie Prawni Borek, Gajda, Tołwiński sp.p. along with his two partners.
BGST’s activity focuses mainly on intellectual property. Paweł specializes in intellectual property law, administrative law, data protection, consumer law, conducting business via the Internet and food law. He has provided legal services to various food producers, including meat producers, poultry breeders, dairy producers and distributors of food supplements.
Paweł is also a member of the Polish Association of Corporate Lawyers and a co-author of the book “All About Online Business” – a book for Polish people regarding the Polish market. Currently, the book is being translated into English to make it available for people outside Poland who would like to conduct business in this country.
